About the Role:

We are seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead our Accounting team in ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. The role involves overseeing accounts payable, financial reporting, and collaborating with other departments for effective cash flow management.


Responsibilities:

  • Direct oversight of accounting functions, including A/R, cash application, and collections.
  • Monitoring, validation, and recording of AP transactions and bank debits on a daily basis.
  • Reconciling cash deposits, sales tax activity, and credit card activity.
  • Preparing journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Supervising collections specialist & AR clerk, providing feedback, coaching, and training.
  • Being the point of escalation for collections when needed.
  • Preparing budgets, analyzing financial data, and recommending plans.
  • Establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
  • Managing bank activity and relationships.
  • Achieving budget objectives and preparing special reports.
  • Ensuring timely completion of month-end close.


Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.


Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make strategic recommendations.
