Project Manager - Mitigation

As a key member of our team, you will oversee all aspects of projects and crews, ensuring excellent customer service and quality work. Your responsibilities will be centered around customer satisfaction, revenue growth, profit growth, management development, and staff development. This front-line management position will lead your team to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the mobilization of resources using loss details, such as type of loss, occupancy type, and approximate square footage affected.
  • Conduct a walk-through focusing on safety, business interruption needs, customer concerns, and stabilization and emergency service needs.
  • Establish a safety, stabilization, business interruption, and emergency services plan to review with the PC.
  • Communicate with the customer and key stakeholders to share progress and next steps.
  • Direct the efforts of the Resource Coordinator/Supply Supervisor in planning site organization and transportation needs.
  • Develop the full scope of services for the entire project to ensure all work and time are accounted for from the beginning.
  • Review the full scope of services prior to submitting to the client.
  • Create and finalize resource need timelines, the project organizational chart, projected milestones, and defining the detailed project tasks and work orders.
  • Conduct an initial project planning meeting with the assigned Restoration Supervisor, Resource Coordinator/Supply Supervisor, Project Clerical Administrator, and Health and Safety Officer to review the scope of services and resource types and quantities expected.
  • Conduct daily management meetings with the assigned Restoration Supervisor, Resource Coordinator/Supply Supervisor, Project Clerical Administrator, and Health and Safety Officer.
  • Ensure the operations of the project are completed, documented, and communicated properly to all parties, including the client, project team, and stakeholders.
  • Define all daily work orders for personnel on site based on progress achieved, customer communications, and tasks completed.
  • Evaluate the progress of the project daily, including walking the site frequently and communicating findings to the RS to correct issues or address observations.
  • Direct all efforts of demobilization, finalization of documentation, and compilation of all documentation necessary for the final invoice.
  • Provide direct support and management of production personnel.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar mitigation and restoration industry and 1 year of management and/or supervisory experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and project and personnel management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent presentation skills, including detailed presentation/update of project progress and issues to upper management.
  • Detailed-oriented with an emphasis on project management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to ensure proper workforce utilization, documentation completion, and overall time management.
  • High school diploma/GED required; Associate degree or bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • IICRC Certification and OSHA 30-Hour General Industry training certification or willingness to obtain.
