Role Description
This is a part time night on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing medical care for patients incthe cardiology service line, conducting patient assessments, diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Experience in cardiology or a related field
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
