Production Planner & Procurement

What You'll Do:

  • Streamline Production: Coordinate and oversee the production workflow for various products, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal delays.
  • Resource Management: Plan and prioritize operations, determining the necessary manpower, equipment, and raw materials to meet production demands.
  • Team Leadership: Assign tasks to workers and other staff, monitoring progress to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise, aiming to minimize disruptions and maintain a smooth production flow.
  • Inventory Management: Collect and analyze output information, including the number of finished products and defect rates.
  • Logistics Coordination: Organize pick-up schedules with freight carriers and generate shipping paperwork for customers.
  • Procurement: Generate purchasing requisitions and PO’s and ensure materials are received and documented correctly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with quality control and other staff to maintain high standards.


What You'll Bring:

  • Proven Experience: A strong background as a production planner, with experience in procurement and inventory management.
  • Planning Acumen: Excellent knowledge of production planning, quality control principles, MRP, and ERP systems.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Windows-based software (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word) is essential.
  • Organizational Prowess: Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Communication: Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
