This role is integral to our team, and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's accounting and administrative functions, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, billing, cash flow analysis, compliance, legal, tax reporting, risk management, payroll, human resources, technology, facilities. Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ year's experience in a Controller role is required.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.

This position also requires that you possess the following skills:

  • Proficient in handling Accounting Functions
  • Demonstrated experience with Budget Processes
  • Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis
  • Strong understanding of Compliance regulations and procedures
  • Experience in Financial Reporting and preparation of Financial Statements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in managing Payroll
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks software
  • Ability to create comprehensive Reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have a focus on detail and driving results
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including but not limited to budget processes, cash flow analysis, and compliance
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements
  • Ensure the company's processes and financial systems are compliant with relevant regulations
  • Manage the human resources and payroll function, ensuring all payments are made on time and are accurate
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for financial management and reporting
  • Regularly review the company's financial systems and processes, making recommendations for improvements
  • Liaise with external compliance consultants and auditors and manage the audit process
  • Monitor the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
  • Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.

Salary:

  • $100,000+ (BOE)

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): 10 Days per calendar year
  • Holidays: Regular full-time employees are entitled to 10 paid holidays each year with extended time around Thanksgiving and Christmas

Hours:

  • Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (In office)
