The Senior Associate will gain broad exposure to investment accounting by contributing to the financial operations and reporting processes for the Firm's registered investment products.Responsibilities:Participate in the execution of accounting, financial reporting, and operational processes for registered fund products.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting packages, as well as materials provided to the Fund Administrator.Assist with quarterly and annual SEC reporting requirements in accordance with GAAP, including preparation of supporting schedules and footnote disclosures.Coordinate with external service providers, including the Audit Firm, Fund Administrator, and Custodian Bank, to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.Support the Tax team with data requests related to RIC and other tax compliance requirements.Contribute to financial analysis, data aggregation, and ad-hoc reporting projects as needed by internal Adams Street team members.Requirements:Undergraduate degree in Accounting is required.36 years of relevant fund accounting experience, preferably within private equity, private credit, or fund administration.Experience with registered investment company (RIC) or business development company (BDC) accounting preferred.Exposure to public company financial reporting or related SEC filings is a plus.CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.Strong organization, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.We offer a competitive U.S. benefits package designed to support health, financial security, and work-life balance.
