Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure machinery and systems operate efficiently and safely through control system enhancements.
  • Lead and participate in the development and implementation of control system improvements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and automation issues.
  • Collaborate with Electrical and Automation Teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring project alignment.
  • Optimize system functionality with expertise in PLC programming, HMI improvements, and robotic operations.
  • Participate in engineering projects and controls programming initiatives.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce costs, increase capacity, and improve processes.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including shop drawings, operating manuals, training materials, equipment reports, and employee assessments.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar field preferred. Associate or Technical Degree is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar role.
  • Proven knowledge of PLC programming, HMI improvements, robotics, and process automation
