Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation solutions using RPA tools and technologies
  • Identify automation opportunities and provide solutions to optimize existing processes
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and develop automation solutions that meet their needs
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of automation solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with automation solutions
  • Document and maintain technical documentation for automation solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and developing automation solutions using RPA tools and technologies or other business process engineering tools or languages.
  • Strong experience in working with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Power Automate
  • Experience in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or similar
  • Strong understanding of process automation principles and best practices
  • Ability to lead a team of junior engineers and provide technical guidance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment using SCRUM, Kanban, or similar agile development tools and frameworks
  • RPA certification from UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism
  • Experience in implementing automation solutions for finance, accounting, or supply chain processes.
  • Experience providing automation solutions to Federal, State or local government agencies
