Cardinal Engineering Associates, Located in Central CT since 1962 is seeking Civil Engineers with well-rounded experience in Civil Engineering and expertise in Hydrology and Hydraulics and an Engineering Department Manager. Excellent growth opportunity.
Senior Civil Engineer - Water Resources BSCE or MSCE and a minimum of five (5) years' experience in Water Resources related to Hydrology and Hydraulic, river hydraulics, bridge hydraulics and scour, stream channel restoration, flood studies, drainage studies, storm and sanitary sewer modeling, storm water management, and environmental permitting.
Certification by CTDOT as a Hydraulic Engineer and a CT P.E. license is preferred.
Experience with HECRAS, HYDROCAD, TR20, TR55, SWMM, HY8, STORMCAD, AutoCAD Civil3D and/or Bentley Micro Station is required.
The successful candidate will serve as Lead Hydraulic Engineer resource on municipal, state and federally funded infrastructure projects, responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the design. This position may also include project management, assistance with client management, mentoring junior engineers and support of Project Engineers and Project Managers.
CIVIL ENGINEERING MANAGER
o Strong Leadership Skills o Significant experience leading roadway, bridge, and other infrastructure projects
o Broad Technical Background in Transportation: Highway, Traffic, Structural or Hydraulics/Water Resources, or Water and Wastewater Engineering
o Business development, client management and project management experience
o Municipal and/or CONNDOTdesign and construction administration experience
o Excellent oral and written communications skills
Responsibilities will include:

B.S. or M.S. Civil Engineering and 15+ years progressive experience in the design and management of civil engineering projects.
Must have a P.E. license in CT or the ability to obtain license in Connecticut quickly
Technical expertise in either Bridge and Highway Design, Water and Wastewater, or Water Resources
Civil/Structural Engineer: Bridge Engineer with a BSCE and four years' experience in the design of bridges. Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D and/or Bentley Microstation is required.
CAD Technicians with Civil3D experience.
