We are looking for brave, passionate, reliable people to join our company as Field Engineer. You will be performing:
Main Objective
Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains SDI EL systems.
Role and Responsibilities
These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Evaluate sites for the installation of equipment.
- Identifies, analyzes, and repairs systems failures.
- Install new components or parts.
- Develops creative solutions to more unique, chronic, or complex issues.
- Answers difficult customer questions about systems features, recommends appropriate upgrades.
- Performs start up testing and customer training on features and general maintenance of the systems.
- Install and connect applicable cables.
- Install applicable equipment (with racks if needed);
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Coordinate pick-up and delivery of equipment.
- May mentor less experienced engineers and verify work.

- The ability to cope with shift work and unsocial hours, which are often required where equipment is in 24-hour operation

Requirements:
- Years of relevant experience: 2 or more years of related experience.
- Education: degree in electrical, mechatronics, mechanical or similar field.
- Technical knowledge with Low Voltage (mandatory) and High Voltage (Desired, but not mandatory).
- 80% travel, implementing, testing, and debugging their design solution. Occasionally travel to South America or Canada
- Must be familiar with and able to use AutoCad
- Must have good knowledge of PCs and Windows operating system.
- Valid Passport
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift/carry up to 51 lbs.
Comfortable with heights i.e., ladders, high mezzanines, scissor lifts.
Tolerance to perform the job in high temperature i.e., second floor mezzanine in an un-air-condition warehouse.
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Eye and Face Protection, Respirator)
