Winter Capriola Zenner (WCZ) is seeking a top-notch Paralegal - Pre-Suit Collection to join our growing Atlanta team in a hybrid work model.


Make a Difference for Community Associations:


At WCZ, we're passionate about helping community associations maintain a strong financial foundation. You'll play a key role in our Pre-Suit Collections department, ensuring timely payments and fostering positive relationships with homeowners.


Here's what you'll do:


Role and Responsibilities for Pre Suit Collection:

  • Handle incoming communications timely and effectively.
  • Maintain organization of a high volume of collection matters.
  • Handle accurate and timely preparation of pleadings, motions and complaints.
  • Filing via E Filing and paper filling (where required) of pleadings.
  • Arranging for Service of Process.
  • Ability to correspond with homeowners as well as WCZ Clients timely and professionally.
  • Calendaring and administrating a high volume of case deadlines.
  • Communicate and negotiate with owners


Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal degree or certification required.
  • High level of proficiency with Technology (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat)
  • Familiarity with IManage Preferred
  • Attention to Detail required
  • High standard of professional excellence
  • Strong Work Ethic
  • Experience in Community Association Collections.
  • Experience with Pacer, Odyssey eFileGA, PeachCourt and other federal and state electronic filing systems.
  • Working knowledge of HOA collections
  • The ability to work independently as well as working well in a fast-paced team environment.
  • The ability to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, strong organization skills
  • Duties as assigned
