Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with regulatory submissions and applications, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

  • Maintain departmental databases and records for complex matters, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage docketing and data maintenance for healthcare-related deadlines, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Organize case files, applications, attorney notebooks, and other materials, maintaining a secure and organized workspace.
  • Prepare and review forms and applications according to federal and state regulations under attorney supervision, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Develop expertise in specific areas of law, regulations, and procedures, staying current on industry developments and best practices.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to efficiently gather required facts and information, fostering trust and cooperation.
  • Attend weekly meetings and occasionally work overtime, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in healthcare or regulatory settings, with a strong understanding of transactional skills.
  • Experience in healthcare and regulatory affairs, with a focus on compliance and regulatory submissions.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail, demonstrating strong organizational and self-initiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe software, with a willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
  • Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required, with a strong educational background in a related field.
