Establishing and maintaining solid relationships with external partners, community residents, and potential donors through social media engagement, the Community Partnership Specialist (CPS), is a linchpin in our success. RESPONSIBILITIES

What You Can Expect Day-to-Day

You'll build long-lasting connections in this high-touch role by identifying and cultivating partnerships with corporations and individuals. As a vital contributor, you'll own all external administrative needs, creative content building, website maintenance, and community print material. Core responsibilities include:

 

Building and Cultivating Partnerships

  • Identify potential partners and corporations that align with the organization's mission and goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster meaningful, long-term relationships with partners and donors
  • Initiate and maintain communication with external stakeholders via social media platforms
  • Provide administrative support to partners, corporations, volunteers and community residents, ensuring their needs and inquiries are addressed promptly and efficiently

Volunteer Coordinator

  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for various organizational events and initiatives
  • Develop and implement volunteer programs and schedules to ensure effective support and engagement
  • Creative Content Building
  • Create compelling and engaging content for social media platforms, promoting the organization's initiatives, events, and accomplishments
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop content that aligns with the organization's branding and messaging

Website Maintenance and Community Print Material

  • Ensure the organization's website remains up-to-date, accurate, and visually appealing
  • Perform regular website hygiene tasks, including updates, corrections, and content freshness
  • Oversee the design and production of print materials for community outreach and events
  • Ensure that all print materials adhere to the organization's branding guidelines and effectively communicate its mission and impact

Annual Gala Coordinator

  • Serve as the primary event liaison and day of coordinator for the annual gala, overseeing calendar planning and day of execution of staff and volunteers
  • Manage event volunteers, ensuring they are effectively coordinated and supported
  • Work closely with vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure the success of the event
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage and retain event volunteers and partners

Partnership Development

  • Collaborate with the fundraising and development team to explore potential funding opportunities through partnerships and sponsorships
  • Identify and pursue collaborative projects or initiatives with external partners that align with the organization's mission

Data Management

  • Maintain accurate records of all partnership interactions, communications, and outcomes
  • Utilize data to evaluate the effectiveness of partnership strategies and make data-driven decisions
  • Other Administrative Duties
  • Undertake additional administrative tasks as assigned by the management team


REQUIREMENTS

What it Takes

We are looking for a creative, data-driven Community Partnership Specialist committed to excellence and cultivating true and lasting connections.

Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining partnerships, preferably in a community-focused organization
  • Strong social media management skills and experience in engaging with stakeholders via digital platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with external partners and donors
  • Proficiency in creative content development for social media and print materials
  • Familiarity with website management and content updating
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Data-driven mindset, capable of analyzing partnership outcomes and making informed decisions
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a passion for community engagement and partnership development
