The Regional Manager manages all sales activities in a geographic region for Hologic's surgical technologies by performing the following duties personally or through leading, motivating and supporting sales representatives and sales activities.Regional Manager Role:Direct staffing, training, coaching, performance evaluations, and career development planning for sales representativesDevelop and achieves accurate forecasts quarterlyAssist sales specialists where appropriate in the direct sale of the Hologic's product linesWork with marketing department to promote customer laboratory demandDevelop district business plans and strategiesRepresent company at trade association meetings to promote productMonitor expenditures of region to confirm to budgetary requirementsThe ideal candidate would have:Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skillsPassion for our businessGood interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, communication, and leadership skillsFlexible, team-oriented, self-motivated and demonstrate good judgment and a strong work ethicProven ability to motivate and direct sales team to meet goals and objectives through influencing representative behaviorBachelor's degree required, MBA is a plusMinimum of 5-7 years related medical sales experience requiredPrevious management experience requiredValid driving license and driving record satisfactory to the Company, as well as a serviceable vehicle available for work use is mandatoryOvernight travel requiredThe total compensation range for this role is $270,000 to $350,000. This is based on a base salary and commission plan combination. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, territory/geography, education, business needs, market demand and performance versus quota.Agency and Third Party Recruiter Notice: Agencies that submit a resume to Hologic must have a current executed Hologic Agency Agreement executed by a member of the Human Resource Department.
