  • Lead one of the Shops in PF activity, as an immersion to Michelin’s culture & Industrial processes.
  • Manage and lead the team with exemplary, being a reference of ICARE behaviors in the region.
  • Achieve a healthy work environment which supports engagement and performance, measured through Moving Forward Together survey.
  • Create and deploy the multi-year and annual plan for the Shop. Drive the action plan, projects and align the resources (people, competencies, investment, etc) to achieve the engaged performance.
  • Strengthen the safety culture in the Shop, where it is the main value and employees take responsibility of themselves and others in the group (interdependence).
  • Strengthen quality culture in the Shop, in collaboration with Quality-Guarantee team, to be benchmark in right-at-the-first time and variation reduction.
  • Ensure a succession plan for the shop that guarantees business continuity, with a vision of the talent & competency needs in the long term.
  • OR is implemented in the Shop. Managers have internalized and practice the 4 principles of the Michelin MAPP (Team based) model.
  • There is a visible step change improvement in MMW practices and projects in the Shop.

MUST HAVES:

  • Engineering degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Industrial, Mechatronics, or a similar background
  • The successful candidate will have ~10 years of progressive experience in Manufacturing. At least 3-5 years of experience as Production or Plant Manager, managing large teams (+100), experience with unions is desirable.
  • Demonstrate Safety, Quality, Lean Manufacturing knowledge. Experience leading high-impact projects such as: launch of new production lines, new technologies, culture transformations.
  • The successful candidate must have a strong leadership potential based on the Michelin ICARE model, with high focus on Positive leadership, strong influence and ability to engage teams at all levels.
  • Lean mindset – focus on creating the best value for our customer through high-standards and continuous improvement.
  • Genuine safety mindset / safety culture
  • Strong business acumen & strategic thinking
  • Analytical skills to develop & adapt strategies, anticipate risks, solve complex problems.
