Full-time positions available: Night Shift (6p - 6a)
*Responsibilities*
* Record a patient’s medical history accurately
* Perform all tasks assigned to a Licensed Practical Nurse
* Monitor and observe residents' condition and document
* Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in activities of daily living
* Knowledge of medication administration and infection control
* Administer injections, prescribed medications and assist with other basic medical care tasks
* Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
* Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide education and comfort
*Skills*
* Current license as an LPN in the state of Louisiana
* Proven experience as LPN or similar role
* CPR certification
* Willingness to provide quality customer service in keeping with facility standards of practice
* Willingness to comply with and uphold the facility's vision, mission statement, standards of practice and policies/procedures
* Demonstrate sensitivity to residents' needs
* Demonstrate the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
* Demonstrate initiative regarding job duties and assignments
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate and able to handle stress
