Our client is seeking Pulmonary Nurse Practitioners to join their growing team These roles are located in long-term care facilities.

Salary/Hourly Rate

$150k – $200k

Position Overview

We seek highly skilled and compassionate Pulmonary Nurse Practitioners to join our client’s team Pulmonary Nurse Practitioners will provide a high level of care to residents in a long-term care setting. This role involves diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing medication, and promoting overall health and wellness.

Responsibilities Of The Pulmonary Nurse Practitioners

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose illnesses, injuries, and other health concerns.
  • Prescribe medications such as inhalers, antibiotics, and pulmonary rehab programs.
  • Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all residents.
  • Provide counseling to all residents and their families.
  • Manage chronic conditions and monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with Physicians, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications For The Pulmonary Nurse Practitioners

  • Experience in Pulmonology.
  • Compassionate and empathetic bedside manner.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a part of a Healthcare team.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements

  • An active Nurse Practitioner License is required.
  • DEA license is required.
