New Business Development

Ascendo Resources is a Certified Minority Owned Staffing Firm, and our mission is to give our clients and companies an advantage through industry expertise, local market knowledge, personal service, and speed to market.
This role is in our Professional Services division and will focus on selling Temporary, Project, and Contract services for accounting, finance, HR, customer service, admin/clerical, and other professional roles.
Job Responsibilities
- New Business development to build relationships to generate revenue
- Full desk model opportunity - includes recruiting talent and new business development to foster relationships with hiring managers
- Use a variety of techniques to build client relationships to generate job orders
- Maintain client relationships to generate better outcomes for clients and candidates in order to place candidates on Permanent, Temporary, Temporary to Permanent, and Contract/Project opportunities.
- Cross Selling outside primary division to maximize revenue potential with other LOBs
- Identify candidates through cold calling, job postings, social media recruiting, job board sourcing, and referral generation.
- Placement skill sets may include: CFO, treasury, financial reporting, corporate tax, compliance, internal audit, SEC reporting, GL accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, data analytics, business and analysis, financial systems, forensic accounting, credit, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, billing, payroll, inventory, audit/assurance services, tax services etc.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
- Be able to manage multiple projects.
- Initiative to follow through on tasks and work in a fast-paced environment while working with a sense of urgency
- 4+ years of related experience preferred
- BS or BA highly preferred but not required
- Previous Staffing industry experience is highly preferred
