Nuss Premier Staffing is seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our client's team. Our client is a holding's company focused on best-in-class business in the home improvement industry. This candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with contractors, builders, and other key stakeholders in the construction industry. As an integral part of our sales team, you will drive revenue growth by promoting our extensive range of lumber and building materials.


Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and target potential customers through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct research to understand market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Provide personalized product recommendations and solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Present product demonstrations, samples, and pricing quotes to prospective customers.
  • Negotiate terms of sale, contracts, and payment arrangements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.

Market Expansion and Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities for market expansion and business growth within assigned territory.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote company products and services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to remain competitive in the market.

Sales Reporting and Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Utilize sales analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in the paint and building materials industry.
  • Living in the Fort Wayne territory or willing to relocate without assistance
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and terminology.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
