Working Style: Hybrid - Must be working at the office 3 days/week

Work Hours: M-F 9:00 -18:00 (can be flexible)

Salary Range: 120-130K base

Experince: Minimum 8 years of work exp. with some management role



REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • US citizen or US Permanent Resident Status
  • Ability to work Hybrid style at the Irvine office (3 days/week)
  • Minimum 8 years of professional work experience as a Software Engineer (internship is not counted)
  • Projects and People Management Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Technical Abilities: JavaScript, git, TypeScript, React, Python, PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, Adobe XD, Figma, etc.


Essential Job Duties

Software Development

  • Design, develop, and implement complex, scalable software applications and solutions in line with the company's requirements.
  • Lead the review process for software architecture documents and code, ensuring best practices and design patterns are followed.
  • Optimize application for maximum speed, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.


Quality Assurance

  • Oversee and contribute to the development of automated testing strategies and frameworks.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards and ensure compliance throughout the development process.


Strategic Planning

  • Evaluate and integrate advanced software engineering tools and methodologies to enhance individual and team productivity.
  • Keep up to date of new technology developments and assess their potential impact.


Client Collaboration

  • Engage directly with clients to understand their business goals and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Participate in technical aspects of client meetings and presentations, demonstrating the technical capabilities of software solutions.
  • Ensure that the software developed meets client expectations in terms of functionality, usability, and reliability.


General Work Policies

  • Strive for constant improvement by identifying more efficient and cost-effective approaches in work processes.
  • Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Uphold high ethical standards within the workplace, promoting a respectful and transparent environment.
