Key Responsibilities:

  • Accessibility Testing: Conduct thorough testing of digital content and software to ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.2, Section 508).
  • Analysis and Reporting: Analyze results from accessibility testing and provide detailed reports on findings, including areas of non-compliance and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assistive Technology Testing: Evaluate digital products using assistive technologies like screen readers, voice recognition software, and other accessibility tools.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and track accessibility compliance across all digital platforms, ensuring that updates and new features meet accessibility requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers, developers, and product managers to document and address defects, as well as incorporate accessibility best practices into the design and development processes.
  • Documentation: If asked, be willing to draft and/or maintain documentation related to accessibility standards, testing procedures, and compliance status.
