What you’ll be doing:
- Manage the recruitment process for open job opportunities
- Oversee the application process by reviewing, evaluating, and recommending applications to the appropriate department
- Send appropriate correspondence to applicants
- Work with managers to create job descriptions for new and existing positions
- Complete BCI and FBI background checks on all new employees as required by law
- Assist employees in the completion of new hire paperwork
- Identify training needs for business units and individual management coaching
- Educate managers on relevant employment and labor laws, regulations, and significant interpretations; ensure policies are applied accurately and consistently
- Develop leadership plans and career ladders for the organization
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Participate in employee event planning
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the core HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
- Attend all mandatory education and in-services (team training, safety, infection control, etc.) and complete mandatory health requirements
Who we’re looking for:
- 3-5 years of general HR experience in a healthcare system
- Bachelor’s degree
- Achieve and maintain required competencies related to job duties
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Recruiting experience
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred
