We’re looking to hire a Media Planner for an e-commerce client. As a Media Planner, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of comprehensive cross-channel media plans. Your focus will be on category-specific media plans and acquisition-focused digital media. You will be a key player in our client's team, collaborating with suppliers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to drive marketing deliverables.


This is a project opportunity in Hoboken, NJ, through mid-January 2025. It is a hybrid position requiring 1-2 days in the office per week.


Media Planner Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual plans for one or more key categories in collaboration with Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing leadership.
  • Work with cross-functional departmental experts to integrate site experience, new product/concept testing and rollout, media strategy and planning, and stores into the annual plan.
  • Manage project and initiative performance by planning campaign budgets and sales forecasts, executing campaigns, and measuring results.
  • Staying current on new industry trends and developing integrated marketing campaigns can drive sales growth and change customer attitudes and behaviors.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and ensuring diversity awareness.


Media Planner Requirements:

  • Previous experience with media planning, digital advertising and campaign management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field and 5 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, 3 years of supervisory experience, 5 years of experience in direct or indirect retail marketing, 3 years of experience in online marketing, and 2 years of experience managing cross-functional teams.
