As part of an expansion of our Data Analytics product line, EV are seeking a Digital Solutions Advisor to join our dynamic team to focus on the growth of our data services and digital solutions portfolio. Specifically, the Digital Solutions Advisor will identify and secure opportunities directly with operating companies, and through synergies with energy services providers, where the cloud-hosted AIVA™ system and MIPSPro® and PIPPro® analysis software systems add value to asset management and decision-making processes.

Role Description

The Digital Solutions Advisor (DSA) is responsible for the creation and implementation of the Regional sales plan in order to meet and exceed the data analytics growth strategies. Primarily, the DSA will identify, prioritize and pursue new business opportunities where the benefits of scalable, secure, interactive, and on-demand access to data provided by EV’s AIVA™ cloud-hosted system provide solutions to customer needs and lead to the creation of significant value for both customer and company. The DSA will also support the promotion and sale of EV’s market-leading data processing and analysis software solutions, MIPSpro® and MIPPro®.


The DSA will drive B2B sales by building relationships with decision-makers and figures of authority within well operators and energy service suppliers, specifically within the data and digital domains, and will demonstrate how EV’s solutions can be applied to address their needs and create value for their operations. The DSA will be responsible for meeting and exceeding his/her own sales targets and to support the EV Regional sales teams to meet theirs.


Specific training on EV’s existing product lines will be provided, and assistance will be provided by subject matter experts and technical support resources as required. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of class-leading, innovative products, and will be expected to deliver the highest standards of service quality and customer support.


Experience Required

  • Minimum 10 years within the Region in a senior sales or business development role within an Oilfield Service Company, preferably within data analytics, digital transformation, or software products.
  • Proven track record for strong, repeatable revenue growth from B2B sales within the oilfield technical services sector.
  • Strong network and ongoing relationships with buyers, influencers and senior management within major energy companies across the Western Hemisphere (specifically USA, Canada, Brazil and Argentina).
  • Demonstratable experience of sales processes, pricing strategy, bidding and tendering, and contract management.
  • Data analysis and/or acquisition experience within oilfield service company or well operator, ideally with experience of well integrity or petrophysical domains.
  • Ideally a graduate degree qualification in a relevant engineering or science discipline, preferably with experience of software engineering or data sciences, or equivalent vocational qualifications and achievements within one or more of these domains.
