This role offers a unique opportunity to help drive the architecture, design, and development of future generations of carrier grade CPE devices and wireless access points. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with internal product and development teams and external industry organizations such as the WiFi Alliance, driving the evolution of WiFi networking, security, quality of service and mesh networking standards, participating in Interop events, and influencing next-generation WiFi specifications. This candidate will also contribute to the development of cutting-edge features for Access Points (APs) and provide critical support to resolve field issues in production environments.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience in a Wireless Network Engineering capacity
  • Experience supporting WiFi 6 and WiFi 7
  • Experience with access point development (preferably routers, but phones, laptops, etc. are also applicable)
  • Expert knowledge in wireless standards (IEEE, 802.11, 3GPP)
