As a Data Center Network Engineer at National Guard Employment Network, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and uptime of our enterprise network systems and services. This role requires advanced technical knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and platforms, as well as experience with network configuration automation and SD-Access.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct advanced enterprise-level performance tuning and network performance audits on a regular basis
Maintain daily operational responsibility for the reliability of the DISH corporate network
Manage enterprise network systems and services to an operational uptime of 99.95%
Design and implement data network services and perform network testing and evaluation testing on a regular basis
Monitor ongoing availability of network services and processes via tools such as Solarwinds Orion and Cisco Prime Infrastructure applications
Additional Qualifications
Experience with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure running Network mode for data center routing/swtiching
Practical experience related to LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN, DMVPN, VPN, and high-availability/multipath/redundant routers, switches and firewalls in large data center environment
Familiarity with technologies such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ISE, networking for F5 LTM/GTM, and networking for IPS/IDS
