ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a Building Information Modeling Engineer III for a thriving aerospace manufacturing company in Carson City, NV In this role, you will provide analysis, technical expertise, and project support associated with the digital transformation of facilities, production processes, and other infrastructure.

  • Implement BIM technology for project planning, design, construction, and operation phases.
  • Develop and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and workflows in collaboration with project teams.
  • Resolve technical issues related to BIM implementation and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Create accurate BIM models and digital twins of existing facilities, incorporating metadata as required.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and modify factory layouts and facility designs using scanning and measuring technologies.
  • Manage BIM projects, including coordination with internal teams and external consultants.
  • Update and maintain BIM project documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct constructability reviews and clash detection analysis to optimize design efficiency.
  • Coordinate with SCADA and other teams to integrate BIM models into facility management systems.
  • Support the procurement, installation, and commissioning of equipment by providing accurate BIM data.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies, reporting any hazards or concerns promptly.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years experience with Revit and Autodesk
  • Building Information Modeling (BIM) Certificate
  • Autodesk Certification
  • Experience and understanding of manufacturing/production facilities
  • Experience with creating a Digital Twin.
  • Integration of BIM and SCADA system in a Digital Twin. Managed BIM Projects.
  • Coordinated the creation and modification of complex manufacturing facility layouts.
  • Knowledge of architecture design and 3D modeling.
  • Ability to create AutoCAD 2D plant layouts.
  • Experience drawing manufacturing and utility systems in 2D and 3D.
  • Experience in creating federated building models within a construction project.
