Position Overview

Daily Duties:
  1. Develop virtual simulations to enhance site logistics, address safety issues, optimize building sequencing, and improve scheduling and virtual reality experiences.
  2. Oversee 3D coordination efforts with operational teams from project initiation to completion.
  3. Conduct preconstruction model tasks, including quality checks, schedule assessments, constructability evaluations, and virtual mock-up creation.
  4. Lead research and development initiatives for new software, hardware, and technologies to elevate team performance and project quality.
Essential Qualifications:

Technical Skills:
  1. Proficient in general computing.
  2. Experience with SketchUp.
  3. Familiarity with CAD and Revit.
  4. Knowledge of Navisworks.
  5. Experience with rendering software (e.g., Lumion).
Additional Skills:
  1. Ability to interpret drawings and understand specifications, building codes, and technical documentation.
  2. Knowledge of MEPF system design.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Capability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
  5. Experience in data analytics, visual programming, and virtual/augmented reality.
Education and Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree preferred in Architectural, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or an Associate degree in a VDC/BIM technical concentration with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  2. Familiarity with BIM software, hardware, and technology.
