Job Summary:

This position is accountable for aligning the firm's service, achieving mutually-established annual revenue objectives, and positioning the firm to take advantage of potential opportunities in the market. Internally, this position works with the Marketing Managers to strengthen and grow the firm while achieving business development objectives. Performs advanced marketing support functions. Can plan and execute marketing activities requiring independent judgment, selection, and adaptation of standard techniques. Can develop new approaches to problems. Typically, they may make commitments for the firm. Networks with outside consultants and contacts to create and confirm leads and consultant contacts. This position can be in any of your three locations, Boise Idaho, Gilbert Arizona, or Bend Oregon.


Responsibilities :

  • Develops/maintains marketing information systems.
  • Organizes, coordinates, and supports the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other submittals/ collateral (government forms, client questionnaires, and prequalification statements)
  • Writes RFQ/RFP's and general marketing correspondence.
  • Prepares materials for client presentations and interviews.
  • Supports development of marketing and sales strategy regionally.
  • Works with the Marketing Manager to develop a strategy for project-specific marketing activities.
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with new and current clients.
  • Maintains current data on projects and team members.
  • Take disparate information and craft compelling prose from scratch, as well as edit information from multiple sources for voice and tone
  • Utilize templates and brand standards to develop or edit standard marketing documents.
  • Expresses the philosophy of the work using appropriate vocabulary.
  • Ensures company website is up to date and is comfortable with making changes and updates.
  • Creates social media posts and reviews company’s online presence.


Business Development:

  • Build business in current markets and develop solutions for businesses in new market positions.
  • Supports internal and external visibility and communications (i.e., press, conferences, direct mail, internal communications)
  • Researches and maintains regional client database.
  • Active participation in appropriate and market-specific professional organizations.
  • Coordinate direct mail campaigns and maintain mailing lists.


Office Success:

  • Performs some administrative tasks for the marketing department, senior business development staff, and local leaders.
  • Models appropriate workplace behavior and leads office culture in alignment with Cole Architects’ Mission Statement and Goals.
  • Ability to understand and follow and/or create marketing workflows and implement procedures.


Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communication, or related field is preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Suite programs
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other Microsoft programs
