Accounting/HR Manager Job Responsibilities:


Accounting

  • Responsible for all monthly and year financial reporting insuring accuracy
  • Oversees company’s bank accounts
  • Reconciliations
  • Assets
  • Journal entries
  • Handles all taxes, rent payments, loan payments, etc.
  • Oversees all payroll functions and reports
  • Direct liaison with CPA firm


Human Resources

  • Maintains employee files & Job Boss profiles
  • Hiring, firing and status change paperwork
  • New employee orientation
  • FMLA and Disability Paperwork
  • Worker’s Compensation paperwork & filings
  • Liaison with temporary agencies & paperwork management
  • Employee related issues and documentation
  • Apprenticeship paperwork
  • Employee Handbook Maintenance


Insurance – Will take over effective 01/01/26

  • Manage employee enrollments and all changes
  • Maintenance and management of reports
  • Manage & Reconciles all Insurance Related General Ledger Accounts
  • Oversee claims and manage invoice payments
  • Integral part of discussion and decision making at renewals
  • Direct liaison with Insurance Advisor and all other insurance related individuals
  • Transmits information on plan changes to employees
  • Handles any issues with insurance plan members as they arise


Education: Associates or Bachelors (preferred)
