Duration: 6-month contract

Compensation Range: $60-75/hr W2


Job Description:

The client is seeking a Data Manager IV with a strong background in data strategy, collection, and automation. This role will involve working closely with business partners to obtain, organize, and automate data sets, serving as a key support to the product owner in delivering a robust data platform.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute reporting strategies for data management.
  • Collect and validate data, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
  • Automate data collection processes for efficient reporting.
  • Document and share information using SharePoint and other platforms.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships and gather requirements.
  • Analyze data from Nielsen and Amazon Vendor Central to inform decision-making.

Must-Haves:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years in a data management role focused on reporting strategy, data collection, and automation.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL and analytical software.
  • Familiarity with data sets from Client or retail, particularly Nielsen and Amazon Vendor Central.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with Amazon Azure and Synapse.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
