Vice President of Production

Aegis is seeking a VP of Production to join their team in the St. Charles, IL area. The Vice President of Production is responsible for the strategic oversight and leadership of the production operations within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing production strategies, managing production teams, and ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards.
Strongly Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree is a must– ideally Industrial or Mechanical Engineering related but, open to other degrees as well.
- Discrete product manufacturing environment is a MUST – Ideally machine design or metal fabrication environment, however any industrial/electromechanical assemblies/product would work too. A good indicator is someone where their plant has machining, welding, assembly, painting, cutting/sawing, etc.
- Experience working within an MRP system is a must – Epicor would be helpful
- Excel skills – someone that can do Pivot Tables, assess Charts, and do V Lookups is strongly preferred.
- Leadership experience – will need to have good people skills and be a reliable leader. Hopefully someone that has spent at least 3-5 years in a Leadership role who can give direction to the team clearly.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that drive organizational success.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
