Job Title: CCS Sales Representative
Job Type: Exempt
Report to: VP of Sales
Summary:
The CCS Sales Rep will be responsible for all territorial account management and sales for cold calling and inbound calls, along with developing and executing sales strategies and providing top notch customer service. Primary duties include driving sales and profit, developing and implementing a professional account management strategy, building customer loyalty, and effectively communicate to external and internal entities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and build solid, lasting relationships with all customer segments
- Effectively communicate and present CCS building systems to potential customers
- Sound business acumen, with solid professional selling skills
- Develop a technical product knowledge approach to customer service
- Calling on current customers and cold calls weekly
- Cold calling in your territory to develop leads and documenting those leads
- Timely follow up on project leads
- Participate in project evaluation and clear communication using forms outlining customer needs.
- Support estimating and drafting in meeting their goals of accuracy and speed
- Weekly reporting including Hubspot or other company CRM.
- Attending weekly mandatory sales meetings
- Attend Industry Trade Shows as assigned.
- Be able to travel including overnight stays.
- All other duties assigned
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Communication, or relevant field of study.
Experience:
1-3 years of prior experience in Agriculture sales or Agriculture production.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
- Computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent selling, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related software
- Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etic.)
- Problem solving and organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking
- Livestock production or related field is a plus
Ability to:
- Work independently with little direction
- Work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Act with integrity and professionalism
- Travel frequently (75%)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds at a time
- Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods at a time and work on a computer
