Location: Charlotte, NC


Hourly Rates:

Junior Technician - $18-$21/hr starting pay

Technician II - $22-$25/hr starting pay


Summary:

We have a client looking for an entry level candidate to be trained as a Service Technician, where they will go out to client sites to take part in installations and start-up of new equipment as well as service existing equipment. (repair, replace parts, troubleshoot etc...) In the first year, this person will be trained at the MFG side in Charlotte, learning the equipment, how it is built, how it's repaired, troubleshooting, start-up / FAT (factory acceptance testing) etc... and then will shadow a Service Tech on client visits, prior to flying solo.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure we meet customer expectations and satisfaction to the best of our abilities through ( but not limited to) the following work order processing: inspection, upgrade, repair, and accessory install
  • Machine installations and training
  • Telephone and field service support
  • Service training school ( on-site and off-site)
  • Parts sales and technical support
  • Warranty Issue solving
  • Sales support ( tradeshows, demonstrations, applications and testing)
  • Product installation and service support


Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Aptitude - Strong hands-on mechanical skills with a willingness to learn and be coached
  • Manufacturing or Equipment / Machine Repair Experience is ideal.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Passionate about being hands on and working on industrial equipment
  • Knowledge in electrical and hydraulic components is desirable but not required
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
