Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, develop, test, and implement automated systems to streamline operations, support production, and improve efficiency.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, engineer, and modify automation equipment and applications.
  • Interface with customers and vendors for design improvements.
  • Troubleshoot PLC Controls Systems, specifically Delta.
  • Support production as needed.
  • Develop technical manuals, drawings, models, and training documentation.
  • Ensure machine uptime through preventive and breakdown maintenance.
  • Prepare why-why analysis and drive corrective actions.
  • Provide feedback for process and equipment design improvements.
  • Maximize equipment utilization and support production needs.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with engineering and operations.
  • Collaborate on planning and maintaining automation frameworks for new products.
  • Identify and drive changes for automation effectiveness.
  • Understand customer requirements and suggest automation solutions.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, military training, vocational training, or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of PLCs.
  • Familiar with automation and robotic installation, integration, and optimization.
  • Electrical experience is a plus.
  • Experience with vision-based inspection (Cognex/Keyence software).
  • Experience with pneumatics and servos.
