Role Description

The Counseling Center of Boardman, LLC is seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist for our on-site location in Boardman, OH. The Mental Health Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality counseling services to clients experiencing a wide range of issues related to mental health and available to work at least 25-40 hours per week.


Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in a Counseling related field (Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology or a related field is required)
  • At least two years of experience in counseling practice and a current license as a mental health therapist
  • Experience in utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHRs) to document clinical services
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other professionals, including psychiatrists, to provide a coordinated team approach
  • Ability to use evidence-based practices and adapt treatment approaches specific to each client’s needs
  • Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures is required
  • Exhibits ethical behavior and a high level of professionalism
