Job Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


• Requires knowledge and application of curriculum design and adult education best practices


• Excellent communication, platform, and organizational skills


• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management


• Must have analytical abilities to evaluate programs for impact and effectiveness


• Speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations


• Understand data processing applications


• Experience using Microsoft Office products, SharePoint, and content management systems


• Knowledge ordinarily acquired through a bachelor’s degree plus 2-6 plus years of experience in the field of education, organizational development, project management, coordination, operations and/or fundraising or marketing/sales


Responsible for management of learning management system, implementation/facilitation, and evaluation/continuous improvement of education initiatives supporting global partnerships. Helps define comprehensive learning strategies and improve effectiveness of Global training programs.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


• Use a high degree of concentration and professional knowledge to serve as the education team lead for the Absorb LMS. Needs analysis/planning, design/development, implementation/facilitation, and evaluation/ continuous improvement of training and education


• Collaborates with Global regional staff on region- and foundation-specific needs to customize LMS program whenever possible


• Partners with Subject Matters Experts across the enterprise to share their knowledge and expertise


• Educates SMEs on learning and development strategies that increase effectiveness of training implementations to ensure that there is alignment of expectations


• Identifies third-party vendors who can provide additional structured certificate learning


• Serves as primary point of contact for all Absorb LMS users and proactively communicates regularly


• Supports all other Global Education initiatives, leading where needed


• Responsible for management, maintenance, and optimization of learning management system (LMS) that supports Global Scholars Program and other education initiatives


• Ensuring the LMS is user-friendly, accessible, and secure for all participants and stakeholders


• Troubleshooting technical issues, generating reports, and providing training and support to LMS users
