Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

  • Lead and manage multiple HVAC piping and plumbing projects simultaneously, from pre-construction through project closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Ensure that all project objectives are met, and that projects are completed on time, within scope, and under budget.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop project strategies and goals.
  • Drive project planning efforts, including estimating, procurement, and risk management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project performance.

Team Management:

  • Oversee project teams, including project managers, engineers, site superintendents, and subcontractors.
  • Mentor and develop junior project management staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that all team members are aligned with project goals and company standards.

Client & Stakeholder Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate communication between clients, project teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure that any issues or changes are addressed promptly and effectively.

Quality Control & Compliance:

  • Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Review and approve project-related invoices, change orders, and purchase orders.
  • Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for senior management.

Problem Solving & Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Resolve project-related issues and conflicts, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Lead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and implement improvements for future projects.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is strongly preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on HVAC piping and plumbing.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale commercial or industrial projects from inception to completion.
