Location: Pflugerville, TX (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM

Compensation: $31.55- $39.40 per hour (Experience-based)

Duration: Full-time, 6-month contract to hire


What We Really Need:

  • 3 + years of Revit experience
  • MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) experience
  • Drafting, Designing or Modeling experience
  • Experience and working knowledge with electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards


As a BIM Modeler III, you will play an active role in modeling tasks to support project delivery while maintaining quality standards. Collaborating closely with the production team, your main responsibilities will include creating project drawings and managing modeling tasks as needed.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead modeling efforts on projects, working with junior modelers to complete deliverables.
  • Set up Revit views for use by the REI Project team, including electronic document filing and all other facets of electronic drawings and/or models.
  • Create Revit work sets and understand the Revit work sharing process.
  • Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of the latest modeling software used by REI, including creating and manipulating Revit families, views, browser structures, sheets, schedules, filters, and similar functions.
  • Create minor mark-ups and input them accordingly.
  • Download drawings and information from the Web, SharePoint, or project websites (FTP, etc.).
  • Exhibit good interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate with others.
  • Be fluent in using plotters, printers, and reproduction systems in-house or on the job site.
  • Import documents such as spreadsheets, photos, images, and word processing files into Revit projects.


Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in computerized drafting preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards.
  • Experience with Revit required.
  • Proficiency in the current version of Revit software used by the department.
  • Ability to read 2D plans, both electronically and in hard copy.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Design Review, and a working knowledge of 3D layout and design.
  • Ability to document and archive work according to REI standards.
  • Acknowledge and adhere to all REI confidentiality and/or Non-Disclosure requirements, including the protection of proprietary or intellectual company property.
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adjusting priorities as necessary.
