Job Description Summary

The Edison Works Integrated Master Schedule Leader (IMS) and Line of Balance (LOB) is a key member of the Edison Works operations and execution team, responsible for leadership of the Integrated Master Scheduling and the Line of Balance (LOB) teams in support of development programs within the Program Management Office (PMO). The PMO supports a wide range of business management and project management functions. Specifically, this role manages the IMS team for all Edison Works programs. Also, manages the LOB team supporting engineering and manufacturing team LOB processes. The leader will manage the assignment of IMS/LOB team members to development programs, establish IMS/LOB standard work that drives productivity and ensure compliance with customer requirements, assist programs with on-time execution of programs, and promote the development of IMS/LOB team members that ensures a healthy cadre of IMS/LOB professionals ready to meet business needs.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • People Leader for multiple team members with a wide range of experience levels
  • Actively participate in defense industry integrated master scheduling forums, anticipate new trends, and work with business leadership to propose and lead implementation of improvements that support business objectives
  • Strategic workforce planning for IMS/LOB Pillar
  • Customer interface with US Government customers
  • Prepare and support proposals for the IMS required contracts
  • Program Management Office - strategic direction for growing number of programs and projects
  • Act as IMS Earned Value Management (EVM) Control Board member
  • Ensure compliance with EVMS Business System and IMS standard requirements
  • Lead the team accountability for timeliness, quality, availability, yield
  • Lead lean transformation efforts to eliminate waste, improve transparency, establish standard work, and enhance the value the team brings to the business using FLIGHT DECK to integrate with existing Program management tools
  • Horizontally coordinate across multiple functions to implement a LOB process using Open Plan
  • Develop and maintain Standard Work and policies/procedure around LOB and IMS processes.
  • Leadership experience with senior management interaction
  • Experience managing direct reports and multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing and communicating at all levels


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Business degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Program Management, specifically scheduling.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
