Grade 2 Occupational Therapist – Palliative Care

Fixed Term position (1 day per week) Work within the Palliative Care RAPID Assist team across the Parkville Precinct Work within a collaborative and caring team

The RAPID Assist Team provides multidisciplinary care – as an outreach service from hospital to home, for all patients known to both health services, to provide high-quality, timely and expert care to patients and their carers. The Parkville Integrated Palliative Care Service is a leading service provider in Australia, providing care across two inpatient palliative care units, in outpatient and clinic settings and in the community, both in Melbourne and parts of regional Victoria.

We are dedicated to providing high-quality care by participation in a range of quality programs, and multidisciplinary clinical research to improve the care we provide. We additionally provide teaching and training across a variety of clinical domains across both hospitals and into the community.

We are a collaborative and caring team – we foster growth and professional development of our staff and actively support learning.

Your new role:

Home assessment visits to palliative care patients and provision of expert OT management advice and equipment to facilitate ongoing community based care and maximise quality of life Work with the wider RAPID Team and Palliative Care service to further promote allied health expertise within the palliative care service

About you:

You must hold: Registration with AHPRA and the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia You must have: Expertise and experience in Palliative Care You must hold: A current Victorian drivers licence
