The Receiving Specialist ensures the seamless flow of materials within the warehouse, from the intake of raw materials to the dispatch of finished products. This role is pivotal in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring quality standards, and facilitating efficient supply chain operations.What you'll be doing
- Oversee the receipt, labeling, and storage of raw materials and consumables, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Manage bin locations within the stockroom and distribution, optimizing space and accessibility.
- Execute regular physical inventory counts, ensuring accuracy and addressing discrepancies.
- Uphold and promote safety standards, ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and training materials.
- Holds oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus' Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures, and internal controls applicable to their role.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma required.
- 3+ years of proficiency in SAP.
- Comprehensive knowledge of inventory management, receiving, and returns.
- Proven expertise in warehousing and receiving, coupled with the capacity to inspire and work cohesively with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
