Paradigm is currently in search of a Senior IT Systems Administrator to work onsite for our computer hardware client in Wilsonville OR. This person will be responsible for the daily operations and monitoring of the corporate IT infrastructure in support of all company endusers. This role will ensure smooth running of networking and server systems while maintaining a high level of security. We are seeking someone with extensive Microsoft Exchange experience and with Linux server experience to join this team.

As a Senior IT Systems Administrator you will:
  • Manage Microsoft Exchange i.e. upgrades and migrations.
  • Collaboratively manage maintain and update Microsoft Active Directory WSUS and Exchange infrastructure.
  • Help with preventative maintenance tasks and updates on Windows IT hardware and software systems.
  • Manage Windows and Linux applications provisioning servers and troubleshooting.
  • Administer and ensure routine maintenance and updates to all IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Conduct network vulnerability scans to ensure secure operations.
  • Help maintain computer hardware (peripheral devices) and networking equipment.
  • Troubleshoot IT related problems both Hardware and Software.
  • Helps install configure and maintain monitoring and security tools.
  • Troubleshoot and document process and work flow.
  • Work with user logs security logs and be able to read them.
  • Provide afterhours support for planned maintenance.



RequirementsOur skills and experience wish list includes:
  • Minimum of 10 years Systems Administration experience in a corporate environment
  • Minimum 5 years Microsoft Exchange experience
  • 5 years Linux and Windows systems experience
  • Bachelor s degree in information technology or equivalent experience
  • Relevant certifications are a plus in order to keep up to date with current technology and trends
  • Extensive knowledge of user administration directory administration server administration GPO and File share
  • Ability to update and maintain computer hardware
  • Should be able to explain what sub masks are and why they are important
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance and updates of hardware and software
  • Demonstrated knowledge of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP DNS DHCP VLANs and various network monitoring tools
  • Experience troubleshooting network issues/problems
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non technical personnel
