Looking for AV Project Manager : Remote : Contract (Long Term)
The Project Manager leads and directs concurrent Audio-Visual projects including projects classified as standard to complex projects based on business needs in accordance to the Program outcomes. The individual may also be involved in larger scale projects supervised by a Senior Project and/or Program Manager.The primary responsibility of the Project Manager will be to interface with all project stakeholders to take ownership of projects from original concept through to final implementation, including handing over to Operations (whether internal or to the client's operations).
Provide pre-sales supportThere is an expectation for the Project Manager to use developed tools for pricing or engage with the Pre-Sales & Sales teams in order to adequately scope and cost project solutions. The pre-sales scoping of the project would involve the completion of a proposal that includes the detailed task schedule, resource allocation and cost breakdown.
Manage project deliveryThe Project Manager ensures that the Audio Visual project delivers the as-sold solution, remains within baselined budget and is delivered on time, while achieving quality criteria and maintaining client satisfaction. This individual will manage delivery of the project according to the WWT methodology. This includes quoting, Project initiation, vendor alignment, rigorous project scope control and management of change variations. They also communicate with key stakeholders regarding the status of their projects. Project set-up, resources and/or vendors and operations are efficiently managed, possibly with the assistance of the Project Coordinator or Administrator.
Project team managementThe individual needs to be able to lead teams and/or vendors effectively within a matrixed and remote environment. Engaging with WWT or Vendor regional and country resources for the delivery to end clients. They act as people managers and provide feedback to the relevant line managers. The Project Manager ensures that the project team has access to the project management tools and have the general means to perform their role. These individuals will coach and mentor project team members and colleagues.The Project Manager will manage to successful outcome multi-disciplines including but not limited to general contractors, hardware suppliers, IT suppliers, Audio Visual Integrators etc. within the project lifecycle.
