Location: Ewing, NJ( Hybrid mode – 2-3 days a week )


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CPG Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the CPG industry, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful consulting projects. The CPG Consultant will work closely with clients to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and implement solutions that drive business results.

Someone who enjoys the intersection of consulting and sales while leveraging the domain expertise to hold meaningful conversations with clients and help them in transiting to the next orbit of their business capabilities and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Offshore Team Management: Proven experience in managing offshore or remote teams in a similar role with hands-on Agile or Scrum methodologies. Pre-requisites to execute this include but are not limited to Project Coordination, Performance Management, Resource Allocation, Risk Management, Budget Management, Compliance and Continuous Improvement.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored consulting services.

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics in the CPG industry.

Strategic Planning: Develop and present strategic recommendations to clients, including market entry strategies, product development plans, and go-to-market strategies.

Project Management: Lead and manage consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to uncover insights and support data-driven decision-making for clients.

Operational Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance clients’ operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, summarizing findings, recommendations, and implementation plans.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within the company to leverage expertise and resources.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree: Preferably in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Economics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Advanced Degree: MBA or relevant advanced degree is highly desirable.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the CPG industry, with a focus on Consumer Goods, Retail, Food Services and Agro industries. Exposure to mainstream FMCG, Tobacco and Alco-Bev industries is highly desirable.

Minimum of 5 years of experience within the IT Service industry, with a focus on solutioning, presales, consulting, strategy, or market analysis and supporting clients in their transformation journey while driving revenue under the sector.

Systems & IT Knowledge:

Working knowledge of following systems/platforms is important to effectively support and advise clients.

Siebel CRM: Extensive experience in Siebel CRM Development, System Integration, Performance Optimization and Project Management. Strong ability to translate business requirements into effective CRM solutions. This also includes operational knowledge of customer interactions and data analysis done within other CRM systems.

ERP Systems: Familiarity with implementation, working and customizations.

Supply Chain Management Systems: Understanding of planning, execution and demand forecasting.

Commercial Platforms: Operational knowledge of TPM (Trade Promotions Management, Optimization & Effectiveness), RE (Retail Execution including Supervisor, Merchandising, B2B, Retailer Ordering) and RGM (Revenue Growth Management).

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence: Understanding architecture, BI tools and related technologies.

Digital Marketing & E-commerce Platforms: Familiarity with SEO, SEM, email marketing and managing online sales channels.

Retail Management Systems: Understanding POS and Inventory Management systems in retail environment.

IoT & Smart Technologies: Knowledge of IoT devices and applications in CPG (smart shelving, automated inventory tracking, etc.) along with Data Integration for monitoring.
