The Technology Specialist provides support and technical expertise primarly focused on two main and critical Sharepoint \ Microsoft Power Platform applications: MACS (Ministerial and Cabinet System) and Sensei Altus. The role is responsible for providing 2nd level support, conducting testing and implementating solutions. Additionally, it involves working with our vendors who provide 3rd level ongoing technical suppoort in delivery of these business crtical systems. This role also works with a small team of M365 and workflow digitisation professionals to ensure a level of consistant support is offered across the department's Sharepoint \ Power Platform portfolio
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
Formal tertiary qualifications in Information Systems or related discipline Experience with Azure development, providing advice and support regarding the Microsoft 365 Stack, Azure Platform. Experience in the use of Agile Methodologies to assist in cloud side development. Proven track record of working with vendor solutions across architecture, configuration, customisation, and optimisation, as well as experience with SharePoint, developing in a Cloud environment. Good DevOps development lifecycle practices, understanding of development methodologies using API's. Extensive experience in process digitalisation and automation using Power platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) including solution design, development, testing and support. Previous experience supporting Altus project and portfolio management or Engage Squared Ministerial Correspondence system looked on favourably. Demonstrated ability to use strong technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills to find problems and then utilize superior interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with peers, internal customers, and executives to inform design and deliver solutions, while working on simultaneous projects each with challenging timelines.This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
