We are currently seeking a Group Facilitator/ Social Service Tech 2 to join our team in making a difference in the lives of our patients every day. We are located in the heart of Middle Georgia State where we enjoy abundant recreational opportunities, and a family friendly environment with good schools and opportunities for the entire family to be involved.
Summary of Duties
Group Facilitator's/Social Service Tech 2 joining our team must have strong communication skills to work with patients and staff as part of our multi-disciplinary team. Good organizational skills are required. This position is responsible, positive role modeling, documentation of flows, crisis intervention and patient safety.
Responsibilities
Under general supervision, provides a broad range of paraprofessional social services to patients/clients/consumers and their families.
The individual in this role will provide direct care. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Associates degree in a social services related field from an accredited college or university Two (2) years of experience in a Social Services Tech 1 position Two (2) years’ experience in Behavioral/Mental Health Field At least 21 years of age Possess a valid driver’s license Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work with patients of all ages Submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checksPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a social services related field from an accredited college or university Three (3) years work experience in Behavioral Health / Mental Health field. Relevant work experience in Behavioral health patient care is highly preferred.Required licenses or certifications
