Job Description:

River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a qualified Group Facilitator to join our team at the Baldwin Outpatient Unit.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide paraprofessional social services to patients, participate in treatment planning, and perform crisis intervention.
  • Assist in dealing with personal and social problems.
  • May provide support to consumers and serve as a liaison for social services.
  • Prepare lesson plans for group topics, maintain medical records, and document daily group notes.
  • Perform case management duties, group skills training, and refer clients to needed services and resources.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a social service-related field (social work, sociology, psychology, etc.).
  • At least one year of experience working with behavioral health clients (mental health, substance abuse, developmental disabilities).
  • Previous experience as a group facilitator utilizing evidence-based curriculums.
  • All applicants must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test.
  • Provide two professional references.

Salary Estimate:

Based on national averages, the estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 and $65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and location.
