CIO (Chief Information Officer) - Victor Insurance

We are hiring for CIO Victor Insurance within the Marsh Technology organization. This senior position manages multiple departments within Victor IT and directly works with CEO/President of Victor insurance as well as the CIO Marsh Tech and other senior positions in MMC Tech. This position directly manages multiple teams led by Managers and/or Supervisors in Information Technology. The requires a deep understanding of how technology can support insurance products and capabilities. The role partners with the Victor senior management team to align company information technology with strategic direction.

What can you expect?
  • Builds and develops IT organization, processes, and procedures to support business needs. Provides on going analysis and planning of company information technology.
  • Recommends and plans information technology to support and meet company objectives based on research and evaluation.
  • Directs implementation and execution of new/upgraded information systems via well-defined plans including procedures, deadlines, and accountability.
  • Evaluates and implements IT procedures and equipment for maximum efficiency and cost containment.
  • Ensures users/customers are provided professional, courteous, and timely support and service.
  • Structures, leads, trains, and develops IT staff for maximum effectiveness.
  • Stays abreast of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
  • Develops/selects and conducts user training on an as-needed basis.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Creates a client focused environment focused on operational excellence and accountability by developing and driving forward the strategic technology agenda.
  • Develops and implements technology-related initiatives to address business priorities in conjunction with International Executives to increase client delivery capabilities and maximize performance, revenue, profit, and market share, and deliver products and services to the external clients.
  • Partners on all aspects of the organization's technology strategies to drive expense and inefficiency out of the business and assist leadership in identifying and maximizing opportunities in areas that may warrant reorganization or other change.
  • Proactively monitors and assesses industry, competitor, macro-economic, and regulatory trends to ensure operational capabilities optimally position the business to compete and respond to change.

What you need to have:
  • 20+ years of IT experience and success working collaboratively in a matrix team environment
  • Prior IT leadership experience
  • Bachelors' degree; Master's degree preferred

The applicable base salary range for this role is $203,400 to $406,700.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
