In this role, you will play a pivotal role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. You will be responsible for identifying workforce needs, crafting innovative HR strategies, and designing engaging employee programs that foster a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and continuous learning.
This position offers a unique blend of operational and strategic responsibilities, allowing you to demonstrate your analytical skills, business acumen, and organizational savvy. You will be empowered to drive initiatives that optimize our workforce, enhance employee experiences, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Talent Management
- Support and proactively move our internal talent management processes forward.
- Actively work with employees to identify development needs, then conduct training and provide advice to managers and employees to improve employee skills and knowledge.
- Manage performance management processes, including performance reviews and goal setting.
Employee Relations
- Be visible to employees through planned and intentional interactions (trainings, virtual meetings, lunch and learns, strategic priorities)
- Conduct ethics investigations and resolve employee relations issues, such as complaints, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Maintain and diligently update HR policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and ensure these are updated on our internal SharePoint site.
- Guarantee adherence with federal, state, and local employment laws, such as FMLA, ADA, and EEO regulations.
- Coordinate and communicate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Manage our salary planning process while also coaching department leaders and communicating with employees throughout the planning cycle
- Support our internal mobility process, including immigration discussions
Driving data integrity within our HR systems
Recruiting and Onboarding
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and build and implement recruiting strategies.
- Meet with new employees and provide onboarding support
- Other adhoc items as needed to support the business and human resources function.
Who You Are:
You build teamwork allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives. You deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner. You set objectives to align with broader organizational goals. You understand that different situations may call for different approaches.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a human resources role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, or willingness to proactively learn.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to travel if needed.
- Comfortable presenting in front of a group of employees.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided
